If you read the last blog post you know that I took a SUPER quick trip to Ohio (less than 48 hours) to finalize design details for THE121…to my complete surprise…THE121 has been birthed!!! So enjoy the pics of my first glimpse of THE121

The contract has been signed and the down payment given. Now will you join me in praying for God to move another mountain? The contract is contingent upon zoning…
THE121 is completely green and “off grid” and well…this is new for some…so there are still obstacles to overcome but I believe nothing is too difficult for the Lord!
I’ll be journeying for a super quick zip to Ohio today to finalize some details on THE121… things are moving and God is able! Lord willing, THE121 will be landing on beech street late Spring/early summer!
Is there anything more enjoyable than land searching in single digits?! I’ve come to realize there’s a reason most people don’t list their land for sale in the winter!
But let’s be honest trekking across property that could potentially be home one day, has a level of excitement that makes the searching in the single digits worth it. Now ask my friend who went searching with me…she might have a different perspective… 😉. So all that to say when you find a realtor And a friend who treks out with you in the single digits…you keep those people!
So did I find land yet? Maybe! Keep praying that the Lord makes the way clear. Day by day we continue to pray. I know God has the right piece out there.

Someone asked me recently, “Do you have land to park your house on?” My short answer. No.
Two months ago I put my big girl pants on and began the land search.
As my friend and I searched, we came across what appeared to be the perfect piece of land. I still believe that to be true.
The land had been for sale for 265 days. Unfortunately here in NEPA, tiny houses are virtually unheard of (apparently no one watches HGTV around here??). All the hoops were jumped through, minus one, zoning.
I won’t bore you with the nitty gritty.
As the zoning commission was trying to figure life out, unfortunately another offer came in. The listing agent hasn’t returned our calls about counter offering. So at this point, I sit and wait.
I am not dismayed as I believe God has a more perfect piece of land than I could ever dream or imagine. So the search continues.
You may be asking yourself why I named my house The121? That’s a super great question! First, I figured every tiny house should have a name right? So as I began to think and dream about my new house, I began to think about what I would use this house for. First, it would be my shelter. Second, it would serve as a reminder. It will serve as a reminder of what God can do. When our hearts are aligned with His, He does give us the desires of our hearts. Third, I would love for this tiny house to be used to bless others. A place of comfort, rest and conversation. So as I brought to mind these things, God brought to mind, my favorite passage of all of Scripture, Psalm 121.
This Psalm was written as the pilgrims journeyed to the temple for the feast. On this journey they found themselves in the valley, the place of complete vulnerability. They also found themselves on the mountaintop. One thing they recalled, no matter where they were, they knew God was with them. He was their protector. So as I dwell in THE121, I want to be reminded, that no matter where THE121 is parked, He is there. He is my protector. I want all who enter THE121 to know that God is there. May it serve as a tangible reminder that God never leaves us nor forsakes us. May it serve as a tangible reminder that God is our protector.
